For the past 3 years, we have been honored to take part in such a major event as ASLA. It is a space where we not only connect with our community, but also with professionals, planners, designers, colleagues, and countless individuals who work every day to build better cities.
On top of that, this year we were thrilled to showcase what our company has achieved through our newest product launches, as well as reinforce our identity as a proudly Mexican brand. This distinction defines not only how we design, but also how we see furniture design: not just as objects, but as a means to improve and elevate the cities we live in.
That is why sharing this vision—and seeing it materialize in every piece we design and craft with so much dedication—means the world to us. It was a true pleasure to connect face-to-face and exchange ideas with professionals who share our passion for the future of our streets, our society, and the way we contribute to our cities.
In addition to showcasing a selection of our products, this year we wanted to capture our identity as a Mexican company through the word “hola.” We wanted to highlight how a greeting used around the world can evoke, in our collective memory, the warmth and sense of community associated with Latin culture. Visitors could find the word throughout our merchandise and, through an interactive activation, use illustrated stamps featuring our products, people, and flora of Mexico. In this way, they could take home a small piece of who we are at BKT Urban Furniture—and what “Hecho en México” means to us.
Likewise, following ASLA, we had the opportunity to be part of Merequetengue 2026, a collective that celebrates Latin American diversity across landscape architecture, urban planning, and architecture. The event brought together professionals from different fields, creating a space for connection and exchange among firms, sponsors, designers, and friends.
