Open Factory 2025

We opened the doors of our factory.

Photography: Our Archive

With the intention of contemplating the silent dialogue between manufacturing and industrial design—the origin of each of our pieces for the city—on Thursday, December 4th, we opened the doors of our factory as a space for gathering.

We showcased our workspaces, bringing people closer to the day-to-day of what we manufacture—the products they see in cities—who makes them, and how we do it.

Through an open, on-site exhibition, and a visual walkthrough alongside our machinery, technology, and the people who operate these processes every day, we shared the story of how some of our products are made and what goes into their creation.

During the event, we also showcased our latest innovations in urban furniture, where attendees were able to preview upcoming launches and designs. Displayed in an open space—much like a street setting—they could see, use, and ask about the pieces, gaining insight into how they are made.

The goal of this event was to open our doors and show, in an honest and approachable way, how we work at BKT—from our design and manufacturing processes to the way we drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. We wanted visitors to meet the people behind each project firsthand, understand how we think and why we make certain decisions, and above all, share the pride we feel in what we build every day.

Moving toward more sustainable production.
